Susie Ellis, owner

Susie has been scrapbooking since 1996 with the birth of her great niece, Bethany. Ten years ago, Susie's father entered  hospice care.  During that time of visiting and caring for him, she was introduced to the idea of how scrapbooking could be a healing part of the grief process.  Susie decided to start right away.  Visiting with him and hearing his memory and stories, not only helped her say goodbye, but led to a career change.  After his passing, Susie got the idea of opening a scrapbook store.  Having business and sales experience her whole life, she was eager to put her two skills together.  Scrappin' Goodtime was born!

Susie is married and has two grown children, one adorable grandson, and a miniature schnauzer named Sam.  Having never met a stranger, she has many stories to tell.  Her passion is her store and retreat center, providing all the latest and greatest product for any and every scrapbooking need!  Tools are her favorite scrapbooking item, and she would love for you to stop by so that you can learn how to use them. You are sure to leave with a new friend!

Melissa Gross

Melissa began scrapping in elementary school, putting memorabilia in the scrapbook her Mama started when she was born. She’s been using the new scrapbooking methods and supplies for the past 15 years and loves preserving memories in a way that is also an outlet for her creativity. She especially enjoys layering patterned papers and creating clusters of embellishments on her layouts. Several years ago she changed from chronological to inspirational scrapbooking, converted her photo processing and storage methods to the Library of Memories system taught by Stacy Julian at (BPC), began using a digital workflow plan, and started sharing her photos, stories & layouts on a blog. Melissa has been a coach in the Finding Photo Freedom workshop and Library of Memories Community at BPC the past three years.

Melissa is a teacher by passion and by training (she’s taught everything from middle school technology classes to university level business courses, from Children’s Church to the Young-at-Heart Sunday School), and she truly enjoys helping others learn. Melissa is married to her best friend, Robbie - a wonderful man who totally supports her scrapbooking addiction and often surprises her with new items for her stash. They both enjoy cooking, reading, traveling, spending time with their nieces and nephews, and relishing the life God has given them. She shares their adventures and her latest scrapbooking projects on her blog: Daily Life – Bits & Pieces.

Rachael Clift

Having been crafty since a little girl, Rachael entered into cardmaking/stamping in 2002.  In 2006, a new scrapbook store opened in her city and she frequented it so much they hired her.  What started as a part time job to support her hobby, quickly grew into assistant manager and teacher! She learned to love all sorts of paper crafting while working at the store, to include scrapbooking, but stamping and cards continued to be her true love. Having recently relocated to Corsicana, she brings her cardmaking skills to us! She has an extensive knowledge of product and techniques and is eager to share!  Rachael also, is helping us get "connected" with our customers through facebook, our website, and our blog.  She is the mother of 4 girls and is fluent in American Sign Language.

  Jennifer Jacobs

Jennifer is married to Wayne, her sweet husband of 18 years, mother to three, stepmother to three more and "mom" to two dogs, a cat a spoiled rabbit and three chickens. Jennifer enjoys all sorts of paper crafting and scrapbooking projects. Take a look around the store and you'll see a variety of her projects.  Everything from from pocket page baby albums, scrapbook pages featuring her family and pets, original mini albums, wall and hangings and more. Jennifer has been teaching scrapbooking classes since 2006 and absolutely loves bringing new people to the craft and sharing her knowledge with scrapbookers of all levels. Another of Jennifer's favorite pastimes is organizing (and reorganizing) her scrapbook room. Watch the Scrappin' Goodtime facebook page and blog for pictures, product reviews and organizing tips as she starts the renovation of a new scrapbook room in the coming weeks.

Heather Hare

Heather started scrapbooking in 2004 after seeing her aunt's scrapbook and thinking, "I could do that!" Since then, her process and style have evolved into her current story-based approach. She enjoys an eclectic style, relying on a wide variety of techniques and products to help convey the message of her layouts. Heather enjoys connecting with other scrappers and sharing with them her knowledge of techniques and design principles, and has several years experience as an independent consultant and teacher for a direct sales scrapbook company as well. Some of her favorite scrapbook supplies at the moment include; spray ink, flair, and anything sparkly or shiny.

Heather's school-aged children, Hannah and William, are the stars of her layouts, while she, her NASA computer guru husband, Chris, and their cat, make cameo appearances. Both Heather and Chris graduated from Baylor University in 2000, and have resided in Houston since then. By day a mild-mannered stay-at-home mom, at night, Heather lives her dream as a professional, freelance, French horn player.

Jill Cornelius

I started Scrapbooking 18 1/2 years ago and never looked back!  At first I hid it from my husband.  Buying stuff here and there and only working at night after my little girl went to sleep.  That's when I would go and hide in the Guest Room and play with my Scrapbook Stash!  I remember the night my husband found out about my Scrapbook Obsession.  He walked into the Guest Room, looked at me, looked at the paper and piles of photos that I had around me and said, "So that's what you're doing back here!".  Then he looked at my pages that I had completed, smiled, walked out of the room and closed the door.  And that's how it all started.!  Fast forward 18 1/2 years and I am still addicted as ever!  If I could only use five items to scrapbook with I would have to have Cardstock, Patterned Paper, Chestnut Roan Ink, Gemstones (lots of gemstones) and well, some flower dies would be helpful too!  I live in Allen with my husband Simon,  my 18 3/4 year old daughter Sarah, and our Three Cats. Snoopycat, Dewey, and Bug.  Now, if you think my daughter is the focal point of my pages have I got news for you!  Well, actually she is. I just have a LOT more pictures of my cats than I do of my daughter!  I've been on several Design Teams, both local Scrapbook Stores and Manufacturers (Scrappy's, FiberScraps, Rusty Pickle) and I am also a Reformed Contest Junkie! I do have a blog that I "try" to keep up to date (notice the word "try"...I have the BEST intentions!)  I'm really EXCITED to be on the Scrappin' Goodtime Design Team and can't wait to show everyone my projects!
